Job description
- Ensures the safeguarding of Company assets (particularly inventory) through adequate internal control.
- Provides financial decision support to the Management Group.
- Responsible for control over and maximum use of working capital.
- Ensures compliance with local tax regulations.
- Responsible for the preparation of the accounts for management and statutory purposes.
- Reviews all significant contracts and tenders.
- Review supply chain and supplier contracts to optimize cost and quality.
- Supports local business acquisition, joint venture set up or partnership activity.
- Responsible for sourcing, promotion and development of professional Personnel.
- Understands, reviews, implements and complies with Sarbanes Oxley requirements as defined in the risk control matrix
- May participate in centralized recruiting events, e.g. career fairs, first/second interviews etc
- Comply with applicable company policies, including Personnel, Quality System and Health, Safety and Environment standards and procedures.
- Successfully complete required safety training
Who we are looking for
- Minimum Education: Finance or Accounting Degree
- Experience 5 years in a Financial Role

- Strong skill in project estimation
- Can handle projects of high complexity
- Creative and innovative in providing quality solutions, advanced skills in analysis and design of solutions
- Expert skill in techniques, tools, processes and practices within area of expertise
- Intermediate Decision Making: Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies. Decisions will impact upon schedules and on day-to-day operations.
Leadership:
- Can function independently and in a team
- Intermediate Project Management skills
- Intermediate Outsourcing Management skills
- Leadership (position has 2-3 subordinates): Establishes goals in order to meet objectives, including subordinates. Provides leadership to subordinates.
- Intermediate Mentoring skills
Communication:
- Advanced oral and written communication skills: Frequently interacts with peer groups, subordinates and senior management within area advising on area of responsibility.
- Interaction normally involves the ability to gain confidence, and give high level presentations of financial information concerning specific projects/schedules etc
- Customer oriented
Cross Discipline :
- Intermediate understanding of how other disciplines interact with own, contributes within other disciplines for increased synergy
- Intermediate understanding of company strategy
- Intermediate understanding of and practice of the principles of Quality
Language skills:
English is a must, French or Italian as additional language preferred, other languages a bonus
