RESPONSABILITATI

Manage effectively operations ensuring that volume, cost and service level targets are achieved;
Ensure the best possible traffic options are utilised to maximum benefit;
Elaborate business plans and strategies;
Prepare as required statistical management information;
Produce KPI¿s as appropriate and relevant to the traffic operation to ensure maximum levels of cost and service are maintained and measured in line with budget requirements;
Ensure that the required level of communication within the Operations department is maintained and introduce as necessary regular team meetings to plan and review the department's performance;


Manage and develop effectively subordinates as required in order to ensure performance and motivation to a standard that enhances the overall performance of the Operations department;
Develop and maintain very good relationships with international carrier companies and transport agents;
Negotiate and conclude contracts with customers and business partners (carriers, agents, etc).


CERINTE

Technical knowledge, skills and abilities:

Knowledge of international transport and forwarding, including excellent knowledge of international transport legislation, related Conventions and other relevant international regulations.

Business knowledge, skills and abilities:

Very good business and commercial knowledge;
Negotiation skills;

Ability to understand the customers¿ needs and requirements and turn them into viable solutions;

Ability to manage a department of at least 13 employees;

Ability to analyse statistical figures and develop action plan and business strategy based on them;
Ability to develop and maintain accurate and timely records and reports;
Good IT skills;
