RESPONSABILITATI

The Online Manager is responsible for the online sales activities for GTS in Romania. This will involve all aspects related to online selling from managing the development and maintenance the internet based applications, the procedures and standards for processing online sales, to the marketing and actual sales function of this particular distribution channel. The systems in use consist of various interactive booking engines for both B2C and well as B2B deployment. The Online Manager is responsible for providing efficient and effective maintenance and operation of those systems in liaison with the IT Director of the GTS Travel Group in order to ensure coordination with developments in the Group.

Specific Duties:

Responsibility for the development, administration, and maintenance of the GTS Romanian website(s) for both B2C and B2B system.

Manage the relationship with the companies dealing with the above at a local or international level as well as manage in-house staff dealing with the above.

Improve functionality and the effectiveness of the Online presence of GTS Romania, by ongoing review of current Online trends not just in Romania but also countries with leading Online technologies outside of Romania

Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for the GTS Romania Online presence including:

SEO
Online Marketing strategies such as PPC, Banners, etc
Marketing the Online Presence in coordination with the general marketing activities of the company

Monitor and report on the performance of the GTS Romania website(s) particularly in relation to changes/improvements/marketing activities

Develop and review the after sales processes and order fulfillment to ensure high conversion rates for bookings and customer satisfaction.

Coordinate with managers in other GTS Travel Group companies in terms of best practices and system improvements

Manage his/her own daily activities to ensure adherence to service levels and maintain quality, accuracy and integrity of systems

Maintain quality documentation for policies and procedures

Preparation and control of budgets


CERINTE

General understanding of website functionalities, online technology concepts, online marketing concepts, customer service principles, etc

Basic knowledge about the travel industry and travel products

Organisational skills with abilities to multiple tasks, and prioritise.

Planning skills to formulate plans, schedules, requirements, resources and tasks.

Decision making skills and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Track record of involvment in internet related activities ideally with reasonable knowledge of travel insdustry.
