Adecco recruits for its client, an important company acting in oil&gas industry, an Office Manager whose main responsibilities will be:
Participate in project technical reviews, assessments and audits, perform technical studies, reports and memos;
Provide engineering knowledge and expertise during all project phases from pre-feasibility to commissioning and start up;
Analyse existing facilities and propose process and equipment improvements/ upgrades to decrease operations costs;
Develop strategies and specifications for common Surface Mechanical Engineering issues;
Support interdisciplinary project teams and ensure internal standards are met;
Act as technical authority for mechanical equipment and piping systems with delegation to approve changes in such systems;
Liaise with industry and authorities as well as with other engineer disciplines and managers in Regions and Operating Areas;
Coordinate supervision for all contractor’s works and guarantee QA for the services performed;
Report on a regular basis on the overall activity, assignments, tasks and projects to the line manager.
BSc (Diploma Engineer);
Minimum of 8 years experience preferably in oil and gas industry;
Experienced in conceptual design studies, FEED and detailed design;
Knowledge of relevant standards and good industry practices in the field of expertise and latest developments/ new technologies;
Experience in leading a team of specialists/ project team/ department of minimum 3 years;
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills;
Experience in relevant engineering software applications;
Languages minimum requirement: English and Romanian intermediate;
Willingness to work in Ploiesti most of the time.
