OFFICE ASSISTANT with further promotion to OFFICE MANAGER

Responsibilities and tasks:

-To give a positive first impression of the school to parents and visitors.
-To answer parents enquires promptly in a polite and helpful manner
-To promote, foster and maintain good professional relationships with colleagues, parents and outside agencies
-Deal with correspondence (post, e-mail, fax)
- Make sure pupil records are maintained and administrated
- Assist and follow up with regards to school's orders.
- Liaise with Service Assistant with regards to buses and lunches arrangements.
- General duties such as: photocopying, filing, typing, faxing documents.
- Develop a knowledge of local medical facilities and emergency services( fire, police, etc) in case of emergency.
- Inform the Head of School regarding any issues on school services ( transportation, lunches, uniforms), complaints, children's attendance.
-Dealing with teachers' enquires and needs.
-Support and participation in organization of school events such: Parents meetings, Fundraising events, Summer Fayre, Christmas Play, etc.
-To assist in the completion of twice yearly student reports.

- very good word processing and IT skills;
