There is a NMS in place that needs maintenance. Main tasks will be bug fixes, addition of new features and regular maintenance.
There are 2 main responsibilities:
- Provision network nodes which are basically Layer2 switches using 802.11a as the backhaul
- Monitor the networks devices via SNMP. The server is a Linux based system and is composed of a MySQL database and a JBOSS server, which places queries to the database. Those queries are later accessed by other provisioning components via a browser.
