• To manage tasks associated with the upgrade or enhancement to the local area network (LAN), wide area networks (WAN) and Internet links.
• To assist with strategies for improvement to the Internet/ Intranet structure (Internet and Intranet Servers, Proxy Servers and Firewalls.
• To assist with implementing a robust infrastructure for content delivery over the Internet
• To make improvements to the security policy to ensure that the company is secure.
• To ensure that a high level of customer service is delivered to all staff in Australia.
• To project manage any special projects allocated to you.
• Assist and drive investigation of new technology.
Ideal Competencies:
- Knowledge of Network Hardware and Operating systems
- Sound Network conceptual understanding (incl. Internet/Intranet/Extranet, TCP/IP)
