Operates the company’s internal and external networks:
- Mission-critical technical support for all UNIX based servers
- Plan, install, configure and deploy UNIX servers
- Develop scripts to automate tasks
- Develop and document procedures for the operation and administration of host systems
1. Must be able to operate in a rapidly changing dynamic environment.
2.Knowledge of systems/platforms:
a.Networking and Security Hardware: Foundry, Cisco, HP, Juniper, etc.
b.Firewall, Router, Switch, Load Balancer
c.Network Architecture: BGP, OSPF, Redundancy Protocols, VPN, Site performance optimization, DNS
d.Security: Intrusion detection & prevention
3.Exceptional technical knowledge of network, Linux, Unix and Windows operating systems.
4.Minimum 2 years experience managing and configuring LANs, VPNs, etc.
