Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor the security and integrity of the network.
- Involve in the development and implementation of new concepts / solutions / standards regarding security and technology in networks.
- Continuously analyze network security, identify security breaches and corrects them.
- Analyze, install and integrate network security applications.
- Ensure the conformity with the IT strategy department’s security standards and procedures, and bring valuable input for improving the security policy.
- Analyze and integrate new network security releases/ patches.
- Test the new functionalities of the IP network and the quality of services received.
- Install programs and operating system updates, including changes in hardware and software configuration in order to allow new functionalities.
- Continuously work to identify, specify and implement improvements to the way the network works.
- End-to-end, stress and load testing new networking features before they become operational.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in the equipments/ software and application tools.
- Create and maintain up to date documentation for procedures related to the administered systems and the communication networks.
Requirements:
- University degree preferably in Computer Science.
- Minimum 3 years of extensive experience in Communication Networks administration and security.
- 1-3 years as System Administrator/ Database Administrator/ Network Administrator or development experience; previous work in international companies is an advantage.
- Extensive network security experience; very good knowledge of security policies and procedures.
- IT proven expertise, CISCO Networking, IP, LAN Architectures, and Data Security on LAN. Experience in advanced TCP/IP networks, CISCO PIX and Checkpoint NG.
- Network Administration or Development certification would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in English.
- Extensive experience in technology testing.
- Highly interested and motivated in working with new technologies.
- Customer oriented, team player, very good communication skills.
- Capable to work effectively under stress and willing to work over-time when necessary.
- Problem solving, attention to detail.
