- Responsible for reliable operation of office and laboratory computers infrastructure ( > 400 computers and > 1000 network devices) in a telecom/networking company
- Participates in operation and development of network infrastructure, consist of UTP and FC cabling, CISCO routers and switches, different network devices (>1000 switch ports)
- Proactively maintains security environment, virus protection, utilize system monitoring solutions to ensure proactive prevention against system failures
- Provides IT support and Helpdesk for developers and test engineers
- Will work towards delivering on-time all the projects he is tasked on
- Will apply all company standards and procedure, correctly using all the tools provided by the company
- If necessary, will have the availability to remain over the normal schedule to do maintenance to critical systems
Strong and reliable IT knowledge (> 5 years) covering the following technologies/products:
- LAN / WAN – preferably using Cisco and Juniper products
- deep knowledge of Microsoft servers and desktop OS flavors and communication applications
- work knowledge with various Linux distributions
- very good command of English (speaking and writing)
College/University degree in Information Technology or Computer science
