• Maintains high availability for all Linux/UNIX operating systems;
• Performs server troubleshooting, systems optimizations, new servers implementation, servers migrations;
• Administers network infrastructure (domain controllers, back-up servers, security monitoring, account management);
• Ensures network configuration, monitoring and management;
• Implementation of changes following company standard;
• Active participation in network infrastructure capacity planning.
• Excellent understanding of the Internet protocol suite stack, from physical layer up to application layer;
• Strong knowledge of the most common network protocols: DHCP, DNS, FTP, HTTP, IMAP4, POP3, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, TELNET, NTP, TLS/SSL, BGP, etc.;
• Hands-on network equipment experience with switches / routers / firewalls / etc.;
• Familiar with advanced network architectures: VPNs, VLANs, clusters, etc.;
• Linux/UNIX OS experience - installation, configuration, tuning, hardening;
• Security policy implementation knowledge (Intrusion detection & prevention);
• Minimum two years experience;
• Good knowledge of scripting (bash, Perl/Python);
• Good command of English

�GECAD NET focuses its business strategy on providing IT security services and technologies under the brand Sentinet - a new security package based on a proprietary technology and IT security consultancy services. Beside IT security, GECAD NET is the company that continues the software licenses distribution, GECAD having in this field a tradition of more than 10 years.
� GECAD Software is the support company for the other three business entities and it is also responsible for consolidation of the Group. Its customers are the other companies members of GECAD Group.
