Responsibilities:
• Manage a Cisco network across multiple datacenters & WAN connectivity to Company Group Networks
• Identify areas of network inefficiency and make recommendations for improvement.
• Engineer and implement various Enterprise Level Solutions.
• Install, support and configure Cisco routers and switches in a Production trading environment.
• Proactively monitor, evaluate, and solve network performance issues.
• Evaluate new network technology. Propose and assist with the planning and design of future network architecture.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to network architecture, processes and support.
• Implement and troubleshoot all aspects of a Cisco network infrastructure
• Monitor and fine tune performance at all network levels.
• Work closely with other technical support teams to deploy and support applications.
• Manage and configure Cisco ASA and PIX firewalls
• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot a VOIP system.
• Assist support staff with production issues as it relates to network infrastructure and WAN connectivity.
• Work closely with other network administrator on projects and tasks, and provide next tier support for troubleshooting issues.
•Participate in 24x7 on-call phone rotation
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to logically troubleshoot errors and determine their source.
• Ability to repair problems or to quickly manage their resolution in a time critical environment.
• Must have a high level of technical knowledge and the ability to handle multiple detail-oriented strategic projects simultaneously in an organized manner.
• Experience operating high availability systems.
• In depth knowledge of the Cisco security risks and stability maintenance issues.
• Familiarity with diagnostic and alerting tools
• Capacity to document presentable server/network configurations.
• Excellent knowledge of VPN's, QOS, VLAN Design, EIGRP and BGP
• Cisco VOIP experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English knowledge.
Highly Preferred:
• Experience with a low latency, high availability infrastructure.
• Enterprise level design experience
• Hands-on experience on Cisco VoIP system
