For one of our clients, a well known company which provides authorized services for mobiles we are looking for a Network Administrator.
Providing support in the operation of Company's growing network;
Supporting Company's internal application groups by troubleshooting service-impacting issues;
Monitoring system stability and performance;
Acting as an externally-facing point of contact to facilitate handling of problem reports, and maintaining relations with network peers and vendors;
Designing, configuring, and testing computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.
Recommending changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
Monitoring network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent work in an IT related field;
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals;
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Access especially VBA;
Ability to work well independently and on a team;
Good troubleshooting skills;
Good knowledge of English language;
Experience with standard network change management and configuration policies;
Windows administration experience;
Experience and flexibility regarding on-call responsibilities;
Creative problem solving abilities;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Asset:
Knowledge of LINUX, Apache, MySQL, DHCP, Qmail (installing and configuring).
