An opportunity exists to make an impact within our Innovation group. Specifically, we are looking for a Senior .NET Application Developer to become an integral part of our Development Services division.
We are seeking a talented senior programmer with strong C#, relational database and OO programming skills. You will perform object oriented development and ongoing enhancement as a member of the development team; you will be involved in building and enhancing a large financial application in production. The application involves a variety of technologies built on the Microsoft platform. You must be a self-starter and be able to work autonomously and take initiative
- 6+ years of C# using all versions of the .NET Framework
- Experience using Visual Studio 2005 / 2008 including WinForm and/or WebForms.
- Deep understanding of how to work effectively with the .Net framework
- Strong OOD/OOP experience
- 2+ years of database application development
GUI development experience
- Experience with XBRL is an asset and nice to have skills
- Experience writing applications that interact with Microsoft Office, (especially with Word and Excel) on different versions of Microsoft .Net Framework (3.5) is a strong plus
- Experience with components such as LINQ, Aspose, DevExpress and Infragistics is a strong plus
- Experience with Visual Studio 2008, is preferred
- Accounting experience and knowledge is a strong plus
- Oracle experience is a strong plus
- Experience with WPF/WCF/SOA
- Experience with ADO.NET Entity Framework is definitely a plus
- Familiarity with OLAP databases such as Essbase and Microsoft Analysis Services

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
