You will be involved in the in-house development of METRO Group business software solutions.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Gather, analyze and document user requirements
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications
- Developing software modules according to technical specifications
- Maintenance of the current applications
- Participate in execution and documentation of tests necessary to ensure that an application or technical environment meets performance requirements
Education: University degree in a technical field
Professional experience: more than 3 years of experience in software development
C# or VB.NET, ASP.net, Web services
XML, XSLT, Ajax, Javascript, CSS
Database programming experience in T-SQL
C/C++ is a plus
Knowledge of UML
Solution and action orientation
Strong organization, time management and task prioritization skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders from different locations
Excellent ability to communicate in English language, verbally and in wrting
