Position Summary
As a .Net Developer, you will work with a team of talented software developers and quality engineers within the Adobe Business Catalyst team. You have to be knowledgeable in scalable web architectures, distributed systems and patterns for internet-scale applications and services.
Main Responsibilities:
* Design and implement features, required APIs, test suites or technology according to specifications
* Work in an agile team to build a scalable and secure service and own multiple features of the product
* Contribute with valuable ideas to the service architecture
* Use your superior technical skills to coach junior members of the team
* Collaborate with quality engineers to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards
* Deploy new releases and ensure production stability
* Perform research on various technologies useful for the project
* Provide status and feedback to management
* University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
* 5+ years equivalent experience industry experience.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Development Platform (ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET, WCF, MSSQL) or excellent knowledge on Java development stack.
* Experience with web-related technologies (HTML, Javascript, Ajax, CSS)
* Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or similar databases.
* Object oriented design principles and design patterns, strong algorithmic and logical skills
* Solid foundation in software engineering process & best practices (unit testing, build automation, continuous integration)
* Passionate about computer science, developing software and internet applications
* Good knowledge of the marketplace and web-space trends and technologies
* Enjoys technical challenges and is capable of proposing and evaluating a solution against requirements, demonstrates strong customer focus
* Committed to the highest levels of quality, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Spoken and written English proficiency
