Manage warehousing activity accordingly with best practices & legal requirements in the most efficient way for the company.
Manage a team of 80 people (3 direct reports)
Organize the finished products and ra & packs storage within the distribution centers and factory warehouse (quarantine); implement and monitor warehouse KPI (key performance indicators).
Ensure that the shipping schedule provided by the Transportation Manager (or Coordinator) is respected.
Is responsible for an effective management of all handling equipments and for monitoring their proper maintenance.
Provide information to Logistics Manager, as required, and participates in the annual budgeting exercise.
Adhere to and enforce all company safety programs and ensure the warehouse personnel and the warehouse locations compliance on working procedures and safety working regulation.
Responsible for best resources allocation inside department, motivation of the people under his coordination, including proper performance assessment, coaching & training.
Provides specific reports linked with warehousing activity, as per company needs
Is accountable for cost management and optimization for the warehousing activity within Romania.
Working Experience: 3 - 5 years on a warehouse/ transports management position within a company with a developed logistics function (mainly transport and warehousing operations), ideally in fast moving consumer goods.
Good knowledge and proven experience in handling complex warehousing on a national level;
Strong organizing & planning skills;
Strong leadership skills, good communication skills;
Able to influence and motivate people;
