Product/Brand Expert
Continuously update knowledge of products, patient treatment trends and scientific activities within the Disease Area
Promotional Material Contributor & Reviewer
Assess promotional materials for the region to ensure that all claims are fully supported by scientific data, and are presented in an accurate, fair and balanced manner
Contribute to the scientific content of promotional material, drawing on relevant scientific data and External Expert insights
Assess promotional material in line with the Promotional Review SOP
Trials:
Clinical Trial/Survey Identification
Design and initiate regional and/or local trials and surveys that meet scientific needs, and take into account regulatory and legal requirements, and, where possible, business needs (with the support of your manager)
Ensure local clinical activities go through internal and external approval processes (with the support of your manager)
Provide significant medical input on trial and survey feasibility and site suitability
Work with EMLs, MSMs and GDO to review protocols, set local recruitment targets and select sites, with the support of your manager
Clinical Trial/Survey Manager
Take joint responsibility for patient recruitment for local and PRI studies with the Site Manager
Support the Site Manager on medical activities related to the delivery of a trial or survey
Monitor progress of trials and surveys; ensure they are properly conducted and meet planned timelines
Work with MSMs for the identification of sites and investigators
Clinical Trial/Survey Analysis and Publications
Provide support, if required, to statisticians with the analysis of local trials and surveys by providing medical insight
Review and provide input on analysis plan for local trials and surveys
Review or prepare, if required, presentational materials, with the support of external experts and your manager, that accurately and fully reflect research outcomes and contribute to developing brand strategies that meet patient needs
Ensure Final Study Report (FSR) and related publications are written (either externally or internally) and obtain internal approval, with the support of your manager
Ensure that investigators, and other partners in the conduct of a trial,have access to the results before public communication and in accordance with publication plan
Contributor to Planning & Strategy:
Medical Planning
Develop regional and local medical plans for belatacept
Ensure local medical plans are aligned with the medical EMEA strategy
Support execution of the local medical plan activities
Contributor to Brand Plans & Strategies
Participate as a member of the Regional/Local Brand Team through developing the Regional/Local Medical Plan and contributing to and challenging other aspects of the Regional/Local Brand Plan to ensure brand strategy always serves patient needs
Build effective partnerships with Marketing counterparts
Leverage medical insight from External Experts and other customers and knowledge of recent scientific publications to contribute to the development of Brand Plans and Strategies
Experiences Desired
Medical doctor (physician) with experience in a transplantation or with a broad medical background is preferred
Designing and implementing clinical trials
Developing and delivering presentations and publications in English and local language
Training others
Word, Powerpoint and Excel skills
Knowledge Desired
Disease Area knowledge, including key scientific publications
Understanding of product development process over different stages
Basic statistical techniques
