As a
MEDIA BUYER
Your main focus would be on the following responsibilities:
* Work with internal customers (marketing, sales) to analyse and collate information regarding current requirements and future needs;
* Carry out data and spend analysis;
* Identify and deliver savings opportunities;
* Identification and initial assessments of suppliers;
* Manage tender process for high value agreements;
* Support national, european and global sourcing projects;
* Negotiate best value agreements – commercial terms of agreement e.g. liability, intellectual property rights, payment terms, etc.
* Work with Legal and/or Patents to finalise the commercial agreement;
* Identify opportunities to standardise purchasing requirements, and enable this in the form of catalogues that can be loaded into the system;
* Maintain frequent contact with suppliers, to review/solve day-to-day issues and to develop current insights into suppliers' business conditions;
* Track and analyse supplier performance data, proposing priorities for performance improvement and follow up monitoring actions.
The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:
* Previous relevant experience on a marketing/procurement role of 3 years;
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills;
* Analytical and attentive to details;
* Team commitment;
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office;
* SAP knowledge;
* University degree;
* Fluency in English;
* Driving license;
