RESPONSABILITATI

- Coordinates the Mechanical engineering discipline with that of other disciplines.
-Maintains records, files and other documents pertaining to the Mechanical discipline.
- Assists the Project Engineering Manager in identifying the engineering documents that must comply with regulatory/licensing requirements.
- Assumes in chargeresponsibility for ensuring that engineering documents comply with applicable state laws/regulations, including affixing registered engineer seal when required.
- May manage groups of engineers, designers and/or specialists with minimal guidance or supervision.
- Works toward achieving compatibility of customer's and Company s objectives.
- Assigns preparers and checkers for Mechanical discipline specifications and coordinates review of external specifications.
- Establishes schedules and budgets to meet project requirements and obtains approval.
- Maintains technical coordination with the Principal Engineer to ensure adherence to industry codes, regulatory requirements and sound engineering practices.
- Coordinates Mechanical engineering activities for a discipline with those of other disciplines on the project.
Directs the preparation and submits periodic reports and forecasts on the status of the discipline.
- Schedules, directs and documents discipline engineering meetings between project management, client, vendors and other engineering groups.
- Advises the Project Engineering Manager regarding status of assignment(s) with respect to schedule, budgets, delays and adverse problems.
-Works closely with Principal Engineer and Project Engineering Manager on employees evaluations and promotions and the overall technical improvement of the group.
- Fully versed with the work process for developing mechanical systems designs within the scope Mechanical discipline.
- Fully versed with the work sequence, general content, and methods used to generate specifications for the purchase of material, equipment, systems, services, or construction within the Mechanical discipline.
-Fully versed with the process of preparing and checking of calculations as well as the approval, revision, retention, and storage of calculations within the Mechanical discipline.
- Fully versed with interpreting codes and permitting as it relates to the Mechanical discipline.
- Ensures quality, quantity and completeness of the assigned engineering tasks.
- Expresses ideas clearly and listens effectively to the ideas of others.

Specific Responsibilities:

- Demonstrated advanced level of knowledge within the Mechanical discipline and has a strong understanding of the other disciplines.
- Fully versed with the preparation and execution of project scope for the Mechanical discipline.
-Advanced knowledge of business development concepts and methods and leads the project proposal process.
- Strong understanding of Mechanical discipline tools and of company cornerstone applications.
- Fully versed in the collection and/or evaluation of data and information regarding technical and economic factors including physical, chemical, environmental, maintenance, operational, regulatory, constructability, and/or schedule factors relating to a specific subject within the Mechanical discipline.
- Fully comprehends external factors that impact engineering problems.
- Fully understands the use of requisitions and the role of materials management.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and leads the development of manpower, man-hour, and labor cost requirements for a project and can monitor the effect of these on budget limitations.
- Has mastered and can lead all aspects of estimating for the Mechanical discipline.


CERINTE

Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent education) in Mechanical engineering from a four year accredited college or university.
Software knowledge : Microstation, AFT Arrow, AFT Fathom, Gatecycle si PV Elite

Experience:

15+ years of professional power industry experience with 5 years of supervising experience. Professional Engineering License (or national equivalent) required.
