RESPONSABILITATI

We are looking on behalf of Our Client, a Multinational Company based in U.K., for a Mechanical Service Engineer who can take first line responsibility for the physical quality of the work undertaken.

Responsibilities :

Pump maintenance activities (corrective and preventative maintenance) and general maintenance
To ensure all pump refurbishment meets WES/customer requirements.
To ensure all local personnel working on the team are operating safely, have had appropriate inductions, risk assessments and toolbox talks and are following both our client and client safety methods.
To supervise local personnel in the execution of their work to ensure quality and recording data into the QA system.
To provide technical support and liaise with technical support team or the client field engineer to ensure correct actions are taken.
To ensure all permit-to-work and other work order card procedures are in place prior to and during operations.
To record all times taken on a WOC, and report accordingly into the system or client system.
Prepare reports and input information.


CERINTE

Requirements :

Completed apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering (preferably pumps/turbines)
Strong mechanical competence, educated to ONC level with 5/10 years practical experience
Experience in the oil industry, offshore, power & water
Planning & co-ordination skills are essential
Assume role of Site Supervisor on smaller project
Responsible for QA Documentation
Ability to work hands-on on relevant tasks
Good communication skills¿English written and verbal
Familiar with use of measuring equipment
Responsible and familiar with Health & Safety at work
