ISG Personnel Management Romania is looking for a Mechanic / Machine fitter for his client, a multinational company specialized on ground engineering, especially dewatering and temporary groundwater lowering for construction pits.
RESPONSABILITIES:
- prepare machines for operation;
- install groundwater lowering systems, to install water pumps and pipes, to
maintain these systems;
- load and unload equipment from low loaders and move it around work sites
- select, change and operate special attachments such as winches, scrub clearers, rippers, pile drivers and rock-breaking hammers;
- work from drawings and markers under the direction of supervisors and engineers;
- back-fill trenches ;
- break up paving, rock and similar material by operating hydraulic or pneumatic breakers;
- service equipment by cleaning, lubricating and re-fuelling it and make minor adjustments and repairs when necessary
- maintain duty of care for other users and work to occupational health and safety requirements
- First site is in Turceni near Craiova. Later everywhere in Romania.
- experience in a similar position;
- experience with cable operated excavators;
- experience in underground and ground level constructions and particularly in underground special constructions;
- high school graduates or professional school (fields like: automobile mechanics, mechanical drawing, are useful);
- Basic knowledge in English or German language required;
- driving license: B;
- unrestricted geographical mobility and availability to work long, abnormal hours on determined periods of time;
- Flexibility, team spirit, professional attitude.
- Training (to update already possessed knowledge with the latest technology development in the field).
