The core requirement of this position is: to be able to do marketing and communication in a field dominated by science and technology.
0. The candidate should be proficient in English. Please Do NOT apply otherwise. French is a plus.
1. BSc/MSc in Engineering, Science or Economics. The candidate coming from a technical field must have an additional interest in communication and business. The reciprocal terms apply to the candidate with a background in Economics.
2. A general understanding of business models
3. The candidate should be able to use Internet as a day-to-day tool ¿ this requires more then simply being familiar with Internet. Proficient PC skills are also required
The position involves working under the direct coordination of the executive staff in order to ensure a professional interface between iMediasoft and some of its clients, partners or prospective customers.
- Market analysis - as an example, the C/M Officer could be required to provide a analysis of the main Law Firms active in IP problems specific to nanotechnology. This implies an extensive research work to find the main Law Firms having at least one lawyer focusing on nanotechnology, and the ability to extract the main markets of these Firms: university-reserchers litigations, IP commercialization etc. However, this kind of analysis could target much more technical fields . As it is impossible to be familiar with all these fields the candidate will have to understand rapidly the core issues in new domains.
