Market Access Manager opportunity at a leading healthcare company.
The key responsibility is to obtain and protect market access (price, funding and reimbursement) for Human products across the whole life cycle by delivering the dossiers to support this including.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Pricing & Reimbursement, Funding:

Responsible for initiating, developing and submitting new price/price increase applications.
Update company's product prices at EU level as well as pricing of direct competitors products.

Responsible for initiating, developing and submitting scientific support materials for reimbursement application in Romania.

Develop and maintain an appropriate knowledge of local guidelines and regulations, medical and scientific practices, pharmaco-economics criteria pertaining to the reimbursement and pricing of in-line new products.

Support the Public Affairs activities in order to support reimbursement applications.
Establish excellent reports and collaboration level with the Medical & Regulatory Department and different Business Units in order to ensure a constructive and mutual feedback, teamwork.

Health Economics strategy:

Responsible for initiating, implementing and developing the Health Economics strategy that are consistent with priorities and product strategies in order to support the reimbursement applications and the marketing efforts :
- Following and interpreting the regulation on reimbursement
- Anticipating need documentation for reimbursement and for the market
- Initiating and managing the execution of relevant studies
- Developing or adapt cost models

Ensure effective networking and cooperation in the field of health economics nationally and internationally, develop and establish strategic pharmaco-economic approaches.

Anticipate and follow macro-environment for Pharma sector

Understand the local environment of the pharmaceutical sector concerning regulations, pricing, reimbursement and the structure of all concerned institutions.


Build and maintain effective networking

Develop and maintain working relationship with healthcare authorities, key influential experts, key opinion leaders and decision-makers.
Participate in selected congresses and symposia.
Participate upfront with the Medical and/or Business Units to meetings with clinical investigators and KOLs; in order to identity advocates and experts to be used in future negotiations.

Participate and exchange information with Market Access International (Active participation in MASTs)

Establish excellent reports and collaboration level with the Business Units in order to ensure a constructive and mutual feedback and collaboration as well as to ensure appropriate reporting of pharma pricing/reimbursement policies as well as other evolutions in the local market.

Active member of the monthly NPPC (New Price/Product Committee as well as IC3 (Improve Communication to Customers Committee) with own responsibility on specific projects as defined in yearly PMP.


CERINTE

Training: University degree in sciences (MD, Pharmacist) completed by PE Training

Professional Experience:
-Pharmaceutical Industry experience and knowledge (2- 3 years) : Market Access, Public Affairs and/or Health Economics
-Understanding of drug development process and working in an international matrix team environment
-Well developed understanding of and experience in regulatory environment product pricing, reimbursement and health economics
