MISSION: To develop and coordinate the activity in Romania according to the general
company’s strategy, through administration of the technical department.
Nature of work/description of work: field (construction sites) and office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Manages the civil-construction projects (auction participation, finding general sub-contractors etc);
- Direct and coordinate the business in Romania, through the technical point of view;
- Plans and coordinates the activity of civil construction projects;
- Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties for the construction teams;
- Review financial statements, activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement;
- Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures within the area of civil construction projects;
- Determines staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes;
- Monitor the business to ensure efficiency and effectiveness while staying within budgetary limits;
- Propose, direct and coordinate organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency;
- Coordinates civil - construction projects – identifying sub-contractors, research and studies for location, fesability etc.;
- Designs market research studies regarding construction opportunities; proposes potential projects for the company.
PROFILE:
-Civil construction professional background – is a must;
- 5 years of experience in Project Development Civil Construction (on projects of over 30 million euro);
- Experience in auction participating.
STUDIES:
- University Graduate – Constructions and/or Engineering
SKILLS:
- Excellent English;
- Good knowledge of German – a plus;
- Very good coordination and management skills;
- Organized;
- Good communicator and negotiator.
