PwC is currently looking for a highly driven Assistant Manager / Manager with strong regulatory, risk management or external audit backgrounds to join our Financial Services Risk & Regulatory Consulting practice group located in Bucharest. The role offers great and rapid career progression alongside the most experienced service provider - both at local (Romania) & CEE level. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a variety of non-audit advisory and regulatory consultancy assignments.
The Role
• Developing advisory engagement plans & project approaches, analysing client’s current business processes and understanding the risk management environment for our clients. You will be expected to take a consultant's approach to the projects whilst utilising our Firm’s methodology & tools to provide solutions to the client's regulatory issues.

What are we looking for
• University degree majoring in accounting, information systems or business related subjects
• Relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CFA, or CISA
• Min of 4 years of relevant experience (candidates with more years of experience will be considered for M positions)
• Practical experience in two or more of the following: regulatory advisory, risk management, technology risk management and corporate governance
• Practical experience in one or more of the following industries: Banks (working knowledge of Capital requirements regulation and directive – CRR/CRD IV, Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 on prudential requirements for credit institutions and investment firms (CRR), FINREP Reporting, COREP Reporting, technology risk management), Insurance (working knowledge of underwriting, claims, reserving (actuarial knowledge), Solvency II, policy administration systems)
• Ability to identify and assess business process controls and linkage to IT systems
• Ability to interact with executive levels of client and firm management
• Fluency in English and reports writing;
• Good analytical skills;
• Ability to produce quality work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines;
• Self-motivated person to learn and develop technical knowledge, eager to acquire experience and build a career in a professional environment and with a strong team-work spirit;
• Structured and organized.
