Developer Technologies department in Romania develops and enhance the award-winning CodeWarrior Development Studio as a complete Integrated Development Environment (IDE) based on the Eclipse open-source framework. This is done through high quality software solutions in the areas of Compiler and Build Tools, Debuggers, Performance Analysis and Profiling, Simulators, Initialization and Configuration Technology and Product Engineering.
The Power Architecture Debugger Team enables extensive support for Power Architecture Freescale processors and development systems. We are developing and enhancing the debugger and additional components (board support, cache viewer, flash programmer, hardware diagnostics, protocol plug-ins, etc.) with new features such as data driven technology and multi-core.
Job Mission: To develop support for Freescale Evaluation Platforms and Processors by:
-Enabling debug support on simulators, emulators and during the hardware bring-up phase
- Planning, designing and implementing support for new boards and processors, considering customers needs and following development process specifications described by CMMi
- Working closely and providing feedback to all software development peers and support teams
- Developing solutions for automatic validation of the software components created
To ensure your successful performance in this role, the following working experience is required:
-Strong experience with C and C++:
- Experience with hardware architectures and assembly language, proved by having developed low-level drivers
- Being able to use and configure boot loaders, familiar with flash memory programming
- Good experience within Windows and Linux application programming domain.
