- Implementation of adequate procedures in order to satisfy internal customers needs (Purchasing, Production etc.) with the lowest possible cost.
- Assist the Supply Chain Manager in estimating costs in order to produce realistic plans and budgets.
- Monitor Logistics overall performance. Recommend and implement appropriate changes required to improve performances.
- Select, monitor and review contracts and maintain strong liaisons with suppliers and third party service providers.
- Keep up-to-date with laws and regulations on customs and transportation and ensure 100% Company¿s compliance.
- University degree
- Three to five years of experience working in Logistics (past responsibilities in preferably at least two of the areas of Sea/Land/Air Transportation, Export/Import Customs Clearance, Internal Transportation for Distribution).
- Minimum one year experience in coordinating a team, budget and plan preparation, contract management.
- Solid knowledge of laws and regulations
- Excellent planning & organizing skills
- Very strong customer service orientation
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Highly motivated able to work at times with minimal supervision
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and re-prioritize issues easily
- Very good command of English is required
