Our client is a multinational business group, acting in the FMCG field. To support the fast business growth, we are looking for excellent candidate in the position of LOGISTICS MANAGER.
Purpose:
Improvement of competitive position of the company through logistics and supply chain strategies
Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate and control the general activity of all warehouses; monthly and yearly inventory controls
- Plan and co-ordinate all activities related to domestic transportation to customers as well as replenishment among warehouses
- Select and provide information to logistics service providers concerning product and customer requirements
- Ensure excellent service-levels towards customers
- Co-ordinate of all co-packing and shrinking processes in the warehouse locations
- Control and budget of all internal and external freight and warehouse costs
- Maintain an efficient communication with other relevant departments
- Contribute to increase the efficiency of processes and work flows
Competencies requested:
- 3 years of work experience in a similar position, preferably in FMCG field
- Experience in logistics and warehouse operations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Good ability for dealing with challenging deadlines
- Ability to work with figures & statistics
- Fluency in English language
- Good PC knowledge: MS PowerPoint, Excel, SAP is an advantage
