For one of our clients, an international retail chain of pet shops and market leader in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, we are looking for a Logistic Manager.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the optimum stock level in central warehouse and in shops and constant increase of stock rotation;
Ensuring the systematic and controlled ordering process based on minimum stock and sales performance;
Ensuring the delivery in time, quantity and quality to the stores with minimum costs;
Minimizing the inventory losses, internal consumption and expiry dates products;
Participating at inventory in shops and warehouse, physical inventory, data preparation;
Managing the stock from warehouse into shops and between shops;
Preparing or verifying orders from shops, or buyer, verifying minimum stock level, rotation and sales;
Verifying orders with suppliers and collecting confirmations about deliveries from suppliers;
Organizing transport for merchandise delivered from company central warehouse into shops and transfers between shops;
Creating, coordinating and controlling the reception procedures executed by shops and warehouse;
Coordinating animal transport in cooperation with VET and buying department;
Coordinating data input into database - orders, deliveries, data changes, invoices;
Controlling and filling all paperwork related to orders, deliveries, returns, expiry, in relation to merchandise, animals, equipment and cooperation with accounting in delivering proper documents;
Coordinating and controlling all warehouse operations and its team;
Preparing various reports within logistic department responsibilities including report for financial expenses of logistic department.
Requirements:
University degree - economy;
Previous experience in retail logistic position;
Analytical skills in regards to stock management and ability to present conclusions;
Experience and knowledge of store stock management and logistic operations;
Problems solving attitude, proactive, independent, optimist;
Pet market expert and pet care knowledge is an advantage;
English proficiency - grammatically and verbally high level.
