The Logistic Development Manager will work together with the top management of the company in order to achieve the logistic strategy of the company for a most important client of ours. This position requires strong interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as a clear understanding and proven experience of the logistic business environment. We are looking for people with experience and interest in the logistics field to develop the business within our company and to be able to organize the activity of a brand new warehouse in Bolintin area.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and securing relationships with a major client of ours.
- In charge of developing and driving winning logistics strategies.
- In charge with all the aspects of the logistics and warehousing activities and operations
- Managing and supporting a team of 50-60 persons (shift managers, team leaders, workers, warehouse administrators)
- Preparing, implementing, supervising all the working procedures necessary for the activity within the warehouse.
- Supervising the implementation of the IT system, optimizing the work proceses, procedures
- Coordinating the whole proces of warehousing, handling, stocks, inventory, etc.
- Reporting to the CEO of the company
-University degree, post graduate studies in the logistic field would be a plus
- Proven experience in managing and leading business activities
- Proven experience within logistics activities / projects
- Excellent communication skills, at all levels of the company
- Excellent analytical, presentation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate independently without supervision, involvement and pro-active attitude
- Fluent English
- Excellent PC skills
