Managing supervisor: Sales Manager
PURPOSE: The purpose of the Logistic Control Specialist position is to offer support to the sales and production departments and to develop and oversee all aspects of the customer order fulfillment and internal processes to include: inventory control, warehousing, and shipping/receiving.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establishes a supply network including outside warehouses and product terminals;
- Manages inventories;
- Forecasts requirements;
- Negotiates purchasing raw material contracts;
- Orders and administrates raw materials supply agreements;
- Verifies receipts;
- Coordinates compliance issues;
- Analyzes business needs in order to maintain required inventories to support the company’s customer requirements and internal needs while minimizing holding-costs.
- Implements and maintains the Inventory structure according to the specifications.
- Ensures that data is correctly entered and processed in the SAP systems – SD, module
- Produces required reports
- Technical University degree and at least 2 years of experience in a similar position
- 5-Years experience in shipping & receiving, inventory management.
- Excellent SAP knowledge and experience in SD module
- Excellent Microsoft Office computer skills
- German advanced is a must (English knowledge would be a plus)
- Ability to take decisions under time pressure, self-motivated
- Experience and knowledge deployment
- Team worker, focused on internal and external customer
- Project management abilities;
- Communication skills, strategic thinking, focus on results
