The Localization Coordinator will be a part of a team assembled to implement and maintain a portion of the application code for the flagship product of the company. Key responsibilities include:
-Estimating translation costs for outsourced translations;
- Managing outsourcing of the translation of strings and sample data;
- Managing outsourcing of the translation of documentation, promotional materials, and web site text;
- Producing product screen shots in localized languages;
- Helping to test localized languages;
On behalf of our client, world leader in development and distribution of CAD software, we are searching for a Localization Coordinator that must have:
-Fluency in both spoken and written English;
- Willingness to take on new challenges;
- Self-motivated;
- Excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written);
- Previous Experience in Real Estate, Facility Management, Finance, or Higher Education industries, a plus;
- Experience with a source code control system such as StarTeam or Visual Source Safe;
- Knowledge of Windows operating system;
- Understanding of software development process;
Exceptional critical thinking with a high level of motivation to learn;
- Proven ability to take ownership of projects and responsibilities;
- Ability to communicate effectively with product teams and general engineering staff; ability to build positive relationships across the organization;
- Strong ability to successfully manage concurrent deliverables on time and with quality within fast-paced environment and under deadlines;
- This position requires 1 to 3 years of equivalent professional experience;
- Candidate must be a team player;
