Represents the company in court;
Ensures that relevant business areas conduct their business in accordance with all applicable laws and procedures (Compliance & litigations);
Supports the business by providing legal advice on a variety of matters;
Keeps abreast of relevant statutory legislation and regulatory requirements;
Assists prosecuting or defense lawyers in court and arranges for the attendance of witnesses at court;
Participates in negotiations and in closing transactions with public authorities (Ministry of Labor, Treasury, Romanian Law Court);
Identifying in a proactive manner (recognizing and anticipating) key legal issues impacting and making appropriate and timely business decisions;
Provides assistance with regard to tenders organized by the Company or by public authorities (concession agreements, lease and free use agreements of public owned property);
Represents the Company in the relation with third parties – auditors, external counsels and firms, regulatory bodies, state authorities;
At least 2 years, fully qualified with Bucharest Bar;
Experience in litigations;
In depht knowledge of civil and crimonal procedure;
Good drafting and negotiation skills;
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills;
English - intermediate level;
University graduate – Degree in Law.
The contract is for 1 year with the possibility to be prolonged.
