Be part of an international team developing the IxChariot product - one of the industry's leading test tools for emulating real-world applications in order to predict device and system performance under realistic load conditions by emulating hundreds of protocols across thousands of network endpoints.
We are looking for an experienced software engineer to bring an immediate and significant technical contribution to the development of a complex multi-platform software product, a person with a strong background in UNIX/Linux software development and with User-space/Kernel programming knowledge. The ideal candidates have a strong foundation in networking, including Ethernet, TCP/IP and L4-7 protocols knowledge.
This position will involve interacting with project managers, leads and other developers in order to understand, scope and specify the features, planning the schedule, designing and implementing the solutions, performing development testing, optimizing and performing bug-fixing in order to deliver high quality releases on time.
This position requires enthusiasm and willingness to work in the network testing development field, excellent problem solving skills, dedication and desire to learn, good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
· 2+ years of experience in developing commercial software
· Knowledge of C/C++ programming
· Knowledge of Unix/Linux User-space/Kernel programming
· Inter-process, inter-thread communication and synchronization
· Knowledge of network programming
· Communicative (fluency in English), proactive attitude and team player
· University degree in Computer Science or equivalent required
Will be considered advantages:
· Experience in networking programming or L4-7 protocols knowledge
· Background in developing multi-platform applications.
· Experience with software development through complete release cycles;
· Good to excellent skills in OOP and OOD
· Windows OS programming knowledge (multithreading and networking)
· Proven to be fast learner, performance driven, highly organized and detail oriented
