You will develop software in a professional environment according with the CMMI standards. Development and maintenance of Linux modules that enable our customers to create networking applications using Freescale products.
Main responsibilities:
* Analyze customers product requirements
* Design the architecture of the network device drivers integration on Linux, port them to the new architectures and to manage the core offloading on accelerators
* Optimize and maintain the existing modules
* Collaborate with the external teams and ensure the compatibility with the modules delivered by them
* Develop solutions for the validation of the software products
* Develop software solutions following the software development process specifications described by CMMI
Job Requirements:
To ensure your successful performance in this role, the following work experience is a must:
* Software development experience using Linux kernel modules and device drivers development and debugging.
* Embedded application development, using C programming
* Linux kernel development experience including multi-core performance tuning (would be a plus)
* Software performance analysis and optimization techniques
* Working experience in job automation and scripting languages would be a plus
* Experience with GNU toolchain is also a plus.
