We are searching for a colleague for the following position:
Linux C++/Perl Developer
in our Bucharest-based Linux Development team.
What would you do?
You will….
…research/enhance open-source projects, as needed
…develop high-payload applications using Perl and C/C++
…put to good use your Linux system programming skills involving filesystem I/O, processes/threads, IPC, signals, network programming etc
And, most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic team
If you have:
...advanced knowledge of Perl
…advanced knowledge of C++ programming language and STL algorithms and structures
...advanced knowledge of networking concepts, protocols and devices
…practical experience with system programming in C/C++ under Linux
…knowledge of object oriented practices and design patterns
…experience with relational databases (MySQL)
…experience with development of distributed systems
...excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
…good ability to speak and understand English
Would be a plus:
…knowledge of scripting languages (Python, awk, sed, etc)
…experience with Boost libraries
...knowledge of performance analysis tools (profilers, heap analysis, trace tools, etc.)
