The Lead Developer will develop and maintain software to meet agreed requirements within agreed timescales, meeting the company's quality standards.
- Ensure all certification and functional requirements are met for all relevant carriers/devices
- Provide regular reports to the porting manager
- Solve technical problems to meet quality goals under time constraints
- Train and mentor new starts to ensure that they are able to meet the targets defined in the induction plan
- Provide technical answers and support to project related questions and enquiries from other members of your team
- Review code from reference development teams to ensure that required standards are met.
- Knowledge of the software lifecycle and software development techniques
- Good use of the English language.
- Ability to Lead and motivate a software development team (team-leading experience is a plus)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining high quality
- Ability to work well within a small and dedicated team.
