The selected candidate will join the R&D SW group, leading and managing the development team that handles embedded low level drivers, stack accelerator drivers, communication stacks and applications on different Freescale platforms.
Beside team management, the responsibilities will include creating the software architecture for new products, design modules and features for new or existing products, code, review, document, and test new modules/features.
Qualifications:
Necessary Experience:
To ensure your successful performance in this role your working past experience should reflect :
• Experience in embedded real-time software development
• Experience in designing software modules
• Experience in developing and optimizing embedded low-level software
• Experience in using debugging tools
Technical knowledge and skills:
Your technical knowledge and skills should demonstrate:
• BS or MS in Electronics or Computer Science; Computer Engineering
• Microprocessor (microcontroller, DSP) architecture
• Experience in embedded systems software for microcontrollers, DSPs etc.;
• Debugging experience using lab equipment (logic-analyzers, scopes, communication testing equipment)
• Basic knowledge of wireless communication protocols (GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/LTE)
• Knowledge in the SEI – CMMI software development process, methodologies and life cycle
• Very good command of English (speaking & writing)
