- Perform a variety of technical duties to ensure system and network functionality.
Main responsibilities:
- Process incoming requests for assistance from internal users
- Perform daily activities to identify system issues on Windows XP platforms
- Troubleshoot common network related problems
Qualifications and skills:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Good English communication skills
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003 (configuration, maintenance, working experience and troubleshooting)
- Knowledge of antivirus and firewall software, e-mail client configuration
- Good knowledge of Ethernet and wireless technologies, client-server environment, protocols (HTTP, SMTP, DHCP) and proficiency in identifying and resolving connectivity issues
- Good knowledge of network concepts (OSI model, TCP/IP) and structured cabling design and implementation
