- Responsible for monitoring, follow-up, solving and escalation of the internal technical trouble tickets according with the existing procedures
- Responsible for the network monitoring activities and escalation of the problems to the appropriate persons
- IT technical support – first point of contact for any technical issue in the company
- Configuration and installation of PC’s
- Users administration
- Network maintenance (IP and Telephony)
- Maintaining the electronic equipment
- Windows family of operating systems (Professional, Server, Advance Server) – medium level
- Windows domain services (DNS, Active Directory, etc.). – medium level
- Red Hat Linux administration and services (RPM, Cron, other basic services)
- General Hardware installation and troubleshooting.
- Email subsystems and protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP)
- Basics of networking concepts and protocols (OSI Model, TCP/IP)
- Basic telecommunications concepts and protocols (VoIP, Gateways, etc.)
- Entreprise applications and services (Symantec Antivirus Suite, Veritas Backup Exec, Postfix MTA, Apache, etc).
