Small New York-based Structural Engineering company is currently looking to open a small office in Romania. We are looking for Junior Structural Engineers. Suitable candidates should demonstrate creative thinking in resolving structural design challenges, the ability to independently manage small projects, and a strong eagerness to learn. Also needed are good communication skills with clients and a team-oriented attitude.
This position will allow the employee to work from home in the beginning. Later this year, we will open an office in Romania. Before that happens, we prefer for our employees to use their own computers. The preferred candidate can adjust his/her schedule to accommodate, at least partially, the time difference between Romania and the East Coast of the United States.

- Master or Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, design of residential/industrial buildings preferred
- Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD 2008 or higher
- Proficient in English
- Knowledge of Risa Floor/3D, ETABS, SAFE and Microsoft Excel a big plus
