Junior SQL Database Analyst provides valuable support for data analyses on cost, quality and profitability for all US Products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Proactively identifies new opportunities with existing carriers or leads towards a more efficient usage of the traffic;
• Perform analysis on received offers for proper estimation of financial potential of interconnecting new carriers;
• Generate new targets for carriers we use for US Domestic buying upon request;
• Collaborate with billing team in investigating discrepancies between weekly traffic reports for products and invoices; support our billing group in posting and solving disputes for company traffic when necessary;
• Follows up on leads, performs analyses, negotiates, sets up prices and monitors the interconnection process on the US Domestic Products;
• Escalate any outstanding issues to the management;
• Add value to customers business by building awareness on opportunities that our services and expertise may bring in their business;
• Keeps him/her updated on industry knowledge and trends, searches web resources, gets involved in industry related discussion groups, attends seminars.
• Telecom background is a plus;
• Inter-cultural environment exposure could be an asset;
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral;
• PC literate (Excel, Access, MS SQL);
• Able to identify key issues and establish priorities;
• Analytical, conceptual, strategic and planning abilities;
• Self-Organized;
• Dynamic, entrepreneurial and creative;
• Open minded and problem solving;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Availability to work in afternoon shift M-F 15:00-24:00.
