The MSG Automotive SW team from Romania is focused on developing the basic software for the advanced automotive electronic devices powered by the 32bit Power Architecture™. The basic software functionality is standardized by the Automotive Open System Architecture organization and it's incorporated in all programmable Electronic Units (EU) which are part of any modern car system.
Your role is to support MSG Automotive customers by delivering high quality software solutions for microcontroller silicon products based on Power Architecture. These solutions include AUTOSAR MCU Abstraction Layer, Run Time Environment or automotive customer specific applications.
To be successful in your role you will have to display the following activities:
• Develop high quality embedded system-level software following automotive software process specific requirements defined by the Software Process Improvement for Capability dEtermination standard (SPICE)
• Create and maintain requirements, design, architecture, code and tests for different parts of the product.
• Autonomously drive yourself in the process of solving the customer’s requests by: planning, designing and implementing new software solutions, considering customers requirements performance improvement and optimization of their products.
Develop solutions for validation of the software products.
o ensure your successful performance in this role your working past experience should reflect :
• Programming experience (C, assembler, Python/Pearl, shell makefile scripting) Experience debugging hardware and low level software (device drivers, real-time OS etc.)
• Working with microprocessor, circuit, or system-level debug.
Your technical knowledge and skills should demonstrate:
• BS or MS in Electronics or Computer Science; Computer Engineering
• Microprocessor (microcontroller) architecture
• Experience in embedded systems software for microcontrollers, DSPs etc. is a plus
• It will be considered a plus to have knowledge of PowerPC Architecture and assembly
• Analog and/or digital design experience is a plus
• AUTOSAR and specific automotive application is a plus
• Communication, documentation and presentation skills
• Good command of English (speaking & writing)
