Development of scripts for an in-house design tool developed in Java. In your day to day work you will have to write code in Jython (Python, Java). You will work in close cooperation with our experts from Thales Austria. You will take part in workshops organized by the company and benefit from trainings.
Professional competency
Education:
- Computer Science (Automatics and Computers, Informatics, Cybernetics)
Preferred Project experience:
- Development/Test of SW applications
- Experiences in the development of railway application SW is a plus
Programming languages:
- Good knowledge of one programming language
- Basic knowledge of a script language (e.g. Python)
- Basic Java knowledge is a plus
Preferred tools and methods:
- Windows / Linux
- Code versioning software (e.g. SVN) is a plus
- Defect and change management (e.g. ClearQuest) is a plus
Personal competencies
- Intercultural communication, including willingness to work in an international team
- Excellent team-working skills
- Analytical skills
- Flexibility and availability to travel abroad from time to time
Language skills:
- English
- German is a plus
