- Direct management of IT equipments, software updates & deployments, patch management for systems in accordance with company policies
- Quickly diagnosis and recovery of IT systems in case of failure
- Implement best practices for administering the company’s systems and equipments
- Maintain software and hardware inventory
- Creates and maintains logical, physical and protocol maps, and backups of all equipment configurations parameters, and network documentation standards and procedures
- Provide account and relationship management to IT hardware providers
- Coordinates with the other IT Specialists in order to enhance the level of integration and user-friendliness for the IT Services provided
- Train support and offer technical advice and consultancy to users
- Assist and support the IT Team in managing, monitoring, and maintaining all of the company’s systems and network applications
- Ensure reliable IT services. Quickly inform and collaborate with the direct-line manager in order to resolve unexpected technical matters/problems.
- A thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows environment
- Hands-on experience working, supporting and configuring Windows XP, Office XP/2003, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server
- Experience in upgrading systems and monitoring the use of applications on the workstations and servers
- Experience with basic networking services and network printing
- Knowledge in automatic software deployment would be a plus
- Complex problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills
- Ability to manage projects/tasks and to completion within the agreed timeframe
- Strong communication skills; able to work on site and over the phone with both technical and non-technical users
- Customer oriented attitude
- Responsible, flexible and adaptable personality
- At least two years in the field of IT equipments management and troubleshooting
