The position is temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent after a few months.
You will work with a team of talented developers and quality engineers within the Adobe SaaS Infrastructure Team. You have to be very knowledgeable in scalable web architectures, distributed systems and patterns for infrastructure services. You will be responsible for taking specific product features through entire life cycle, from requirement analysis to delivery, meeting the reliability, performance and quality targets required in our company. CTSIO is a service development group building components for new Adobe SaaS or hybrid products such as Photoshop.com, Creative Suite Review and Acrobat.com.
Responsibilities:
* With guidance from senior colleagues: design & implement features, required APIs according to specifications
* Interact with the quality engineers, to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards
* Perform research on various technologies useful for the project
* Provide status and feedback to management
* Make an impact and build a rewarding career with our SaaS Infrastructure and Operations team.
* 0-2 years of software development experience
* Good knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one DBMS
* Able to develop for and deploy on Linux OS, configuration and administration skills are a plus
* Fluency in Java and a scripting language such as Python or Ruby
* Solid foundation in development process, best practices and design patterns
* Good knowledge of code-versioning tools and practices
* Strong knowledge of code-editors, debuggers, profilers and other tools for the technologies he owns
* B.S. or M.S. degree (degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent is a bonus)
* Experience with Web Services and SOAs (REST, SOAP) is considered a plus
* Experience with AWS or other cloud computing providers is considered a plus
* Effective communication with the local and remote team members
* You must be enthusiastic, creative and have the desire to innovate. You must be open to learning a variety of technologies in order to satisfy client needs.
