• Perform PM’S on all plant and equipment as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain PM Logs on all plant and equipment.
• Perform emergency maintenance on all plant and equipment when required.
• Make adjustments to equipment as requested by an operator or the Shift Supervisor.
• Must follow FDA , Military and AMD rules and regulations.
• Must follow GMP, and Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs) of all equipment.
• Must follow the Safety procedures as set down in the manufacturer’s manuals for all plant and equipment.
• Must follow the QA department's direction on quality issues.
• Advise the Maintenance Manager immediately of any abuse or misuse of equipment or plant.
• Ensure the Maintenance Supervisor knows your location at all times.
• Maintain compressor room logs.
• Maintain generator logs for both camp and plant.
• Follow the maintenance SOPs on parts inventory, inventory room and workshop.
• Minimum of 2 years hands on in a food or bottling plant. (FDA regulated)
• Strong electrical and mechanical trouble shooting abilities.
• Excellent hand tool knowledge
• The ability to read calipers
• Hydraulic experience
• Pneumatic experience
• High pressure air compressor experience
• Plumbing experience
• Rotary filler experience
• Packaging experience
• Some refrigeration experience helpful.
• Understanding and ability to demonstrate safe work habits
• Detailed oriented.
• Parts requisition experience.
