Working closely with members of our Web Development team, and of course other awesome colleagues from technical departments, you will develop exciting new web applications of high quality standards, and be proud to ship end-user-facing applications to millions of users.

As a Senior JavaScript Ninja at Avira, you will:
• Deliver on time by juggling multiple competing demands;
• Work efficiently without close supervision;
• Adapt and solve exciting problems with new technologies;
• Understand web application scalability and performance;
Your technical profile:
• Deep knowledge of Javascript/CSS/AJAX/HTML5/JSON and an interest in user interface design;
• Expert on a very advanced level in terms of front-end development;
• Javascript
o deep interest and experience with JavaScript, in all its forms;
o knows his way around pure JavaScript
o experience with JQuery and at least one other Javascript framework;
o knows what MVC is about
• Experience with debugging and profiling techniques;
• You know how to optimize web apps in terms of loading and execution time;
• You proved over time the ability to investigate, propose and implement simple and creative solutions to challenging problems.
Nice to have:
• Experience with backend programming languages (PHP, Python, etc) preferable in the context of a web framework (YII, Django)
• Experience developing and deploying highly efficient, scalable server-side applications
• Database, SQL and MySQL (LAMP stack) experience
