- implement and design front-end sections for our web applications
- design and develop various components and modules for our products and websites
- get involved in developing a framework for front-end applications that will enhance the quality and functionality of our products
- find solutions for our customer???s needs together with your colleagues
- at least 3 years of professional JavaScript experience
- very good experience with a JavaScript framework (Qooxdoo, JQuery, Prototype, etc)
- very good experience in XHTML, CSS
- knowledge of XML, XSLT, XPath, JSON
- knowledge of Eclipse or other IDE
- good knowledge of web design usability, web standards and cross-browser development
- an eye for designing esthetic layouts and interfaces
- ability to design and implement high quality front-end interfaces and web components by following style guides, user concepts and specifications
- basic knowledge of Linux OS, SVN, CVS, SSH, Apache/Tomcat, Maven
- excellent written and verbal English skills
- openness to learn new technologies and to take responsibilities
- passion for researching front-end frameworks
- an open mind and are an outgoing person
Would be a plus:
- ActionScript 3 / Flex knowledge
- OOP programming experience
- Java programming knowledge
- experience on Java front-end frameworks
- knowledge of German language
- online portfolio
